Today was the day we had a visit from the fly and spider man! The morning was spent tidying up, making muffins and getting the washing done (and dried!)
The spiderman came just after midday and we had to evacuate the house for 3 hours so we decided to go to the crazy golf to pass the time - another first for Granny who hadn't played golf since she was about 15 in Callander - "and that was all flat!!" We all started off enthusiastically and full of energy but the midday sun took its toll and by the time we got to the 18th hole - 2 hours later - we were all parched and glad we were finished!

When we had finished the golf the boys were ready for a swim so we went to the school pool for them to have a dip. One of Findlay's classmates were there so they had a good time playing various water games!
We got back to the house - flies all gone. Yahoo! Hopefully it will mean we will be beastie free for the rest of the summer and longer.
All and all a nice day in the sun.
