Saturday Market

Saturday - Market Day.

We all headed off into Nelson this morning to visit the Saturday Market. The Market in Nelson is a real mixture of craft stalls, food and vegetable stalls etc. We weren't there quite as early as the week before with Gordon and Kay so it was beginning to get busy but we managed to stroll around and Mum had a good look at all the stalls. Again it was hot and sunny, so hats and sun screen were a must.

We came home via some of the old buildings in Nelson for Mum to have a look at. They are only about 140 years old but in NZ terms that is real history!

We had quiet afternoon in the garden, then a BBQ for tea while we waited on G&K returning from their tour of the North Island. They arrived about 7.30pm and we had a lovely evening hearing about their adventures and looking at their 700 photographs!
